Coffee starts my day; how does one prepare the perfect cup of coffee?
One of the best cups I ever had was in Tokyo. Similar to the Melitta filter method but I’ve tried to duplicate it at home but it wasn’t the same. How do you do coffee?
1. Keep beans in freezer
2. Grind fresh right before you brew
3. Use a cup-top filter and brew directly into the cup (or a french press).
4. Bring water to a full boil, dampen grounds in filter. Wait a minute or two for oils to release.
5. Bring water back to full boil, pour into filter.
Enjoy!
